Corporate Run Race Rules

Any team or person who does not comply with these rules or meet eligibility risks being disqualified. Refunds will not be given in the case of a disqualification.

Corporate Run Race Rules

  1. The Lexus Corporate Run is open to employees of corporations, businesses, government agencies, financial institutions, educational institutions, and other eligible organizations.
  2. A minimum of four employees from the same company is required to form a team. Individual entries and teams with fewer than four employees are not accepted.
  3. Employees must have been employed by the participating company for at least three months prior to race day.
  4. Each participant must register individually online and acknowledge the event waiver to be officially entered in the event. All participants must meet the eligibility requirements.

Eligibility: TeamFootWorks reserves the right to determine company and participant eligibility, request verification when necessary, and reject or disqualify any entry that does not meet eligibility requirements. All eligibility decisions are final.

For more information on employee and guest eligibility, see Company Employees & Guests below.

  1. Employees must be at least 18 years old and be a full-time or part-time employee of the company they are representing.
  2. Guests are friends or family members of company employees who have been invited to participate with the company team. Companies may choose whether or not to allow guests to participate on their team.
  3. Guests may participate in the 5K but are not eligible to win the race, receive individual awards, or be included in the Industry Competition scoring. Guests are not permitted to break the finish line tape.
  4. There is no minimum age requirement for guests participating in the 5K. Guests under 18 must be registered by a parent or guardian and accompanied throughout the 5K by a registered parent or guardian. Participants under 18 are not eligible for awards.

  1. All individuals on the race course must be officially registered and wear their assigned race bib visibly on the front of their torso throughout the race. Participants may not wear another participant’s bib.
  2. Race bibs may not be altered, folded, or duplicated. Altering the bib may interfere with the timing chip and result in a missing finish time.
  3. Participants must complete the entire designated race course to be eligible for official results and awards. Course cutting or taking shortcuts is not permitted and may result in disqualification.
  4. All participants must complete the race unaided unless prior approval has been provided by TeamFootWorks.
  5. Participants must follow all starting corral signage and line up in their designated starting section according to their bib designation for Runners, Walkers, or CEOs.
  6. Participants should practice proper race etiquette throughout the course. Walkers must start in the designated walker section. Slower participants and walkers should stay to the right when possible, to allow others to pass safely.
  7. Strollers are highly discouraged due to the size of the event. Participants using a stroller must line up behind the designated walker section, and children must remain in the stroller at all times.
  8. Participants must follow the instructions of race officials, course marshals, police, and event staff at all times.
  9. Unsportsmanlike, inappropriate, or disruptive conduct may result in individual and/or team disqualification.
  10. Company or 3rd party photographers, videographers, and drones are not permitted on the race course, start/finish line, or tent area without prior authorization from TeamFootWorks and must have Event credentials.
  11. Pets are not permitted on the race course, except for service animals.
  12. Participants are responsible for knowing and following all race rules. Failure to comply may result in individual and/or team disqualification.

TeamFootWorks reserves the right to interpret these rules and make additions, changes, or clarifications to these rules as necessary.
