Corporate Run Industry Competition

Four members to a team – men, women and coed division – in 18 industry categories

The Industry Competition gives companies the opportunity to compete against other organizations within their industry. Team Captains select their company’s industry category when initially creating their team.

After the race, Team Captains select four eligible employees from their team’s finishers to submit for scoring in the Male, Female, and/or Coed divisions.

Industry Competition Rules

• Industry Competition is open to full-time and part-time employees age 18 or older who have been employed by the participating company for at least three months prior to race day.
• Each scoring team consists of four eligible employees
  o   Male Team: four male employees
  o   Female Team: four female employees
  o   Coed team: Two male and two female employees
• Each participant may be included only on one scoring team.
  o   For example, a female participant may not score for both a female and a coed team.
• Guests are not eligible for Industry Competition scoring.

Eligibility: TeamFootWorks reserves the right to verify participant and team eligibility and disqualify any scoring team that does not meet the Industry Competition requirements.

How Industry Scoring Works

• Industry Competition scores are based on each participant’s official chip time.
• Participants must complete the designated race course wearing their assigned race bib to receive an official chip time and be eligible for scoring.
• Scoring teams are not submitted automatically based on your company’s finishers.
• After the race, Team Captains must select four eligible employees for each division and submit their scores through the Captain’s Dashboard.
• Team Captains may submit multiple scoring teams in the Male, Female, and/or Coed divisions, provided each participant is included on only one scoring team.
• Scores must be submitted by 5:00 PM on the Tuesday following the event.

Awards

• The four submitted chip times are combined to determine the team’s total time.
• Teams are ranked against other companies within their Industry Category, with the lowest combined time determining the winner.
• All submitted scoring teams also compete for the Overall Team Award in their respective division.
• A team that wins the Overall Team Award will not also receive an Industry Category award. The next eligible team within that Industry category will receive the category award.
